Welcome to 2017

It was an interesting start in 2016 for The Toymaker (oztoymaker), so I’m looking forward to seeing what 2017 will lead to!

In 2016 I hit a number of markets, before settling (for the time being) on The Big Bayside and Peninsula Design Market as one outlet for my toy making (and associated items!)  This combined with Etsy made for a very busy end-of-year, so it is definitely onward and upwards for 2017!

The most popular item by far in 2016 was the HODOR doorstop, and I have no doubt it will remain the top of the popularity pile for 2017 as well.

I’ve also been doing quite a bit at the end of 2016 with Sass & Spunk Styles, and that certainly promises to keep me busy this year as well.

So where to from here?  Well as the new year starts, I have a whole heap of ideas for products that I’d like to introduce, and these will be posted here as well as they are developed.  Some new tools and materials in the workshop will also increase the breadth of what can be offered as well – not that that has been a limit in the past, just more to increase the speed that I can make things, which in turn keeps the price down.

So plenty to come, be fun to see where this year leads.
